Curve & Cyfrin Updraft: Developer Certification Scholarships

Curve Finance is collaborating with Cyfrin Updraft to further strengthen its DeFi leadership position and nurture developer talent.

Building on the existing Curve-focused Updraft curriculum, we are now sponsoring Developer Certification Scholarships for ecosystem builders.

Selected developers will receive vouchers to sit for Cyfrin Updraft’s SSCD+ Certification exam free of charge, enabling them to verify their expertise and gain priority access to future ecosystem opportunities.

We’re also piloting the integration of Updraft Certifications into Curve’s hiring process to streamline recruitment and enable faster onboarding.

Key Highlights

• Curve-Specific Courses: Cyfrin Updraft’s specialized curriculum equips developers with protocol-specific skills, tailored to the Curve Finance ecosystem.
• Developer Scholarships: Selected applicants will receive full scholarships to sit for Updraft’s SSCD+ Solidity certification exam, free of charge.
• May 13th Live Kickoff Event: A live event on May 13 at 2 PM UTC will officially introduce the Scholarship Program, featuring Cyfrin CEO and Updraft’s lead educator Patrick Collins, CurveCap, and the team from The Llamas. The kickoff event will take place virtually in the Curve Finance Discord.
• Community-Driven Selection: Scholarships will be distributed via community initiatives and a structured candidate selection pipeline in collaboration with The Llamas’ hiring platform Woolish.gg, ensuring a fair and thorough selection of promising Curve developers.
• Solidity Now, Vyper Next: The initial curriculum and certification focus on Solidity, but a Vyper developer certification track is planned for later in 2025, expanding the program to support multiple smart contract languages.
